Reset Your RecordVault Password

If you have forgotten your RecordVault password, use the Microsoft account recovery process to create a new password.

Step 1: Open RecordVault

1. Open the RecordVault sign-in page.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Select Next.

Step 2: Start the Password Reset

1. On the password screen, select Forgot password?.
2. On the Microsoft account recovery page, enter your email address or username.
3. Select Next.

Step 3: Complete the First Verification

1. Select an available verification method.
2. If you select Text my mobile phone, enter the requested phone number and select Text.
3. Enter the verification code sent to your phone.
4. Select Next.

Step 4: Complete the Second Verification

1. Select an available authenticator app verification method.
2. Approve the notification in your authenticator app or enter the code displayed in the app, depending on the option selected.
3. Select Next.

Step 5: Choose a New Password

1. Enter a new password.
2. Enter the same password again in the confirmation field.
3. Select Finish.

Password Requirements

• Use 8 to 256 characters.
• Combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Do not include your username.

Common Issues

• If a verification method is unavailable, select another method shown on the recovery page.
• If you cannot complete the available verification methods, contact your support team and provide your username, the verification step where the issue occurred, and the exact error message displayed.
